Mrs. Dolores Pizzi (Spanish)Mrs. Pizzi was born in Cuba where she earned her degree as a Kindergarten teacher. She emigrated to the Dominican Republic where she taught for 19 years. In 1989 she moved to Miami and began teaching at Little Village Academy until 2002. Mrs. Pizzi is married and have three children and seven grandchildren, which she considers her most valuable treasures. She loves and is excited at the opportunity to be teaching Spanish to all our children. She is a talented teacher with much experience and we are extremely delighted to have her as part of our team.
Mr. Luis Leon (Physical Education Coach, Music Teacher)Mr. Leon is originally from Puerto Rico. He is a graduate from the Berkley College of Music and the Boston Conservatory. Mr. Leon has a Bachelor's Degree in Performance and a Master's Degree in Music Education. Sister Ana Pia (4th-5th Grade Religion, 5th Grade Substitute) Sister Ana Pia is substituting for Mrs. Larroude while she is on temporary leave. She teaches 4th and 5th grade religion as well. Sister Pia belongs to Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary community.
