Mrs. Yamilia (Yammy) Quiñones Mrs. Quinones was born in Cuba and came to the U.S. when she was 13 years of age. She went to high school in Miami and graduated from Miami Dade Community College with an A.A. and A.S. degree in child psychology and Early Childhood Education. Yamy as she is known, came to MOC in Feb. 2003 and worked as a Pre-K teacher in the Learning Center. In Sep. 2003, Mrs. Quinones joined the Pre-K staff at MOC school with great joy and enthusiasm. Mrs. Quiñones is happily married and has two children. She enjoys reading a good book during her leisure time and is quite involved with the Emmaus retreats and groups both at Prince of Peace and Mother of Christ.
