Purpose, Philosophy, Educational Objective
The purpose of our Learning Center is based on the bible verse, "Train up a
child in the way he should and when he is old he will not depart from it."
Proverb 22:6.
The philosophy of Mother of Christ Learning Center is to develop the whole child physically, emotionally, socially,
intellectually and spiritually, while providing him/her with a
secure, loving environment to flourish in.
We help from the transition from home to school in a loving manner. We teach the
children to share, respect authority and personal property. We facilitate the
physical development and their capacity of comprehension.
Program
We have programs for children ranging from 18 months to 4 years of age. The groups are
divided by age and developmental skills. The curriculum is presented by the
staff in monthly themes. We have chosen High Reach Learning Curriculum to
provide, creative, innovative, developmentally appropriate and culturally rich
educational materials in the context of a whole child philosophy. The daily
activities include free play, circle time, group activity, arts and crafts,
math, science, exercise, center time, outside play, music, physical education,
