Dear Parents,

In order to maintain the best classroom environment it is necessary for students to follow all classroom rules:

• Listen carefully to the teacher

• Show respect

• Be polite

• Raise hand

• Stay in seat

Students who follow all classroom rules will:

• Receive a "Good Time Ticket" daily from the teacher.

• Have an opportunity to pick an item from the treasure box every Friday.

• Have an opportunity to be a table captain.

Students who chose Not to follow the classroom rules will:

• Receive a warning.

• Not be eligible to receive a ticket, or be table captain.

• Have a two minute timeout during which they will complete a behavioral form that must be taken home and signed by the parent.

Home Learning Policy

A home learning packet will be given out on Monday. The complete packet is due on Friday. In addition to any given homework, students should be reading a minimum of 15 minutes each night. Not completing assigned homework will have the following consequences:

• First time - teacher warns student

• Second time - a note is sent home

• Third time - parent contact/points deducted

Prayer Corner

There is a prayer corner in our classroom. The students have a 15 minute rest time after lunch. Your child will have an opportunity to use the prayed corner during our rest time.
